Prime Suspects: Mystery Case Files

MCF: Prime Suspects continues in the tradition of MCF: Huntsville, with you playing the role of the master detective. However, you are now playing with the big boys (and girls). Instead of chasing petty criminals, you now need to apprehend a big-time crook. The Queen's Hope - the largest diamond in the world - was stolen while it was on display at Capital City's Plazza Gallery. You have been called into the case, and it is all up to you (the other detectives are probably on their coffee and donut break) to catch the culprit and return the Queen's Hope to its rightful place.

You have to search for clues through the various establishments in Capital City, from the glitzy Rialto Theater to the less glamorous hat shop and hot dog stand. The clues are scattered throughout Capital City, and it is up to your eagle eyes to spot them in each locale and piece them together to identify possible suspects.

MCF: Prime Suspects also boasts a new layer of gameplay to the tried-and-true hidden object genre. There are hidden locations in the game, and the only way to access them is by finding and manipulating specific objects hidden among the other clues. For example, a flashlight is kinda useless unless you're able to find a battery...

Once you find enough clues to pinpoint a suspect, it's back to the good old Crime Computer. You will be able to use the Crime Computer to manipulate the clues to hopefully identify the suspect in question. This is done by solving a mini-puzzle. These puzzles are a welcome break from the typical hidden object style gameplay, and involve word games and some ingenuity on your part.

Diligently search for clues and slowly rule out your suspects (while simultaneously enjoying the beautiful locales and scenery) until you find the culprit daring enough to steal the Queen's Hope diamond!

MCF: Prime Suspects is a fitting sequel to the best-selling MCF: Huntsville and carries on the tradition of fantastic hidden object gameplay coupled with well-drawn and engaging artwork and atmosphere. If you like hidden object games and the thrilling whodunit genre, you will definitely enjoy this game.
