Hidden Expedition: Everest Review
Rating: 4.0/5.0

Hidden Expedition: Everest continues the award-winning Hidden Expedition hidden objects game series. The series started with the original hit Titanic game, and has returned for a second outing after great reviews of the original installment. As before, this game features hidden object puzzles set amid fantastic art of some of the most hostile places on Earth.
Where Titanic took you to the bottom of the ocean, Everest takes you to the roof of the world. Not only will you get to explore the mountain that is this game's namesake, you will also get to visit other exotic places around the world. In this game, you will taken to the Andalucan mountains, the ancient city of Machu Picchu, and the swamps of the Amazon.
In this game, you represent the Hidden Expedition team in a race to the top of the world. Your competition in the race are The Scholars, The Scarlet Hat League, and The Gamers... 3 dastardly teams that will go to any means to be the first to the top of Mount Everest.
However, the game would be pretty boring if every piece of art and puzzle in it features white snowy mountains... so we get a plot twist in the story!
Early in the race, you find that your path to the top of the mountain has been blocked. However, you coincidentally find a notepad telling you about a mysterious figure who knows another path up the mountain! You then detour from the race and travel around the world to many exotic locations in order to locate this person. Along the way, you will encounter many hidden object puzzles and many other mini-games featuring stunning artwork.
What also makes this game exceptional is the presence of Ed Viesturs, the first American to scale all 14 mountain peaks above 8000 meters. Ed has worked closely with the game designers and features prominently in the game.
At each stage of the game, Ed will be there to tell you about the various geographical wonders that you come across. You will also be able to watch actual real life videos that Ed took on his journeys up some of the world's tallest mountains! Some of these videos can only be found exclusively in this game. And of course, Ed also has some fun in the game, as can be seen in the screenshot above.
If you like the Hidden Expedition series, or like exploring some of the most beautiful yet dangerous places on the Earth, Everest is a great game that will keep you occupied for hours on end. And you will keep going back for more just to take another look at the gorgeous art and fantastic videos.
