Welcome to the mystery of Azada, the thrilling and hugely popular first chapter of the Azada series.
The adventure starts with you being unceremoniously dumped onto the foyer of a mysterious mansion. You soon learn that you were transported here by Titus, an adventurer that was trapped here by the magical Azada.
You find out that Azada is a mystical book containing hundreds of increasingly difficult puzzles, and that Titus was trapped by it when he attempted to unravel its mysteries. He is now a portrait in the mansion's library, and it is up to you to solve the mysteries and puzzles of Azada in order to rescue him, chapter by chapter.
Each chapter in the book is a series of puzzles, with a total of 40 unique puzzles with varying difficulties spanning the entire game.
These puzzles include the traditional hidden object game. However, Azada makes things more interesting by forcing you to find hidden objects and try to figure out how those objects interact with other objects in the scenario. For example, it's not enough to just find a pack of matches in a beautifully drawn scene. You will need to find these matches and figure out if they are meant to be used to perhaps light a candle or burn a rope that's also hidden in the scene.
This additional logic and out-of-the-box thinking required for these puzzles takes the hidden object game genre to a whole new level.
But these hidden object puzzles strewn throughout Azada are just 1 of 40 unique types of puzzles found within the game.
You will encounter many other puzzles including the classic sliding puzzle pictured on the left. Other puzzles include jigsaws, number ciphers, pattern matching and much much more.
So, if you're after a refreshing and exciting game full of many different types of puzzles, this game is definitely worth a shot.
And when you succeed in freeing Titus from the grips of Azada, continue the adventure with him and discover other mystical books in the new sequel Azada: Ancient Magic!
